Saturday, March 15, 2014 – Wells Street Corridor – Event hosted by Fort Wayne Professional Firefighters

Enjoy a day of fun with family, friends and the Fort Wayne Professional Firefighters! In its 12th year, the festival continues to grow and entertain thousands of community members. In fact, 10,000 people attended the event in 2013. With proceeds benefiting local scholarships and charities, and loads o’ fun for all ages – it’s a great way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day every year.
9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Fire Police City County FCU 5-Kilt Run/Walk Put on your kilts and walk or run through the streets of downtown! (Kilts are optional.) This all ages race starts and ends at the corner of Superior and Calhoun. Last year, nearly 1,400 people participated. read more
11:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Hoosier Lottery River Greening Join the annual river greening at the old Wells Street Bridge! Watch as our own Fort Wayne Firefighters transform the St. Mary’s River with eco-friendly dye. read more
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Stout Barbell Strongman Competition Grab a drink and watch as the strongest men and women in the area compete in this exciting event. Teams push, pull and lift objects like water-filled kegs, tractor tires and kettle balls. read more
10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mad Anthony Brewing Company Music, Food and Fun At the Wells Street Corridor, you’ll find the main tent area – including great Irish food and of course, green beer. People of all ages will enjoy meeting Lucky The Leprechaun, getting their faces painted, competing in a Lucky Charms Eating Contest and listening to local bands. Don't miss the Kids’ Fun Zone and Gold Coin Drop for the youngsters! read more

Live Music, Food and Fun (18 and older) Keep the party going with live bands on the "Hoosier Lottery Imagine That" stage and cold drinks at the main tent area. read more
